Just got my Fenix 6 Sapphire today and trying to open spotify is either not working or sometimes even restarting the watch. Spotify was an essential function when i choose this fix. If it won't be fixed during the next days the watch will be returned. Pretty frustrating expirience during the first couple of hours. Really unfortunate.
Fenix 7 -Spotify Sync failed since now Spotify worked fine. Now i wanted to add a playlist to my Fenix 7. But everytime sync is failed. It doesn't matter which Playlist or Podcast i want to add. I restarted the watch and phone. Nothing changed. I deinstalled Spotify on my Fenix and installed it new. Nothing changed.
Step 1: Initial Setup of the Spotify Connect IQ App. Press and hold the Down Key. Next you will be prompted to select your music provider. Press the Down Key. Select Spotify. You will now be prompted to open the Garmin Connect app on your smartphone. From the Garmin Connect app, enter your Spotify login details and select LOG IN.
Scenario 2. Your phone is your source for your music. You have your music app ON YOUR PHONE, running your music. Your phone is with you, near you, etc. you have earbuds connected TO YOUR PHONE [meaning, not your watch). In this scenario, yes your watch can also ‘control’ your music - play pause vol up/down skip fwd, etc.
Spotify starts “Searching for Wi-Fi Network” ending up in “No Internetconnection”. Very dissapointing if you pay premium price for a premium sportswatch. Did perform multiple hard resets. Did remove the Fenix from Garmin profiles in between, did also remove WIFI install beforehand. Did multiple reinstalls using Garmin Webupdater.
Spotify either fails to sync from playlists (syncing failed message), or syncing stays at 0% indefinitely and does not complete even for a single song. Nokia 8. Headphones are irrelevant since the app just cannot sync. Vivoactive 3 Music. Brand new device, so this was the first (although multiple) attempt to sync with Spotify.
Hey all, has anyone else has trouble with Spotify lately? A week ago I updated my music as I do monthly. All went fine. Tried to play it from my watch this week and it was blank. Playlists showed up but once I hit start there was no song, no music. The sounds and alerts from my workout still played through my headphones but there was no music.
